On-site Medical Procedures and Selected Injections
- Fracture, acute injury, and wound/laceration management
- Selected on-site joint, tendon and bursal injections – practitioner dependant – only after appointment for thorough suitability assessment. Some circumstances require off-site radiology referral. Booking a consultation cannot guarantee suitability for injection but is required to assess suitability
- Surgical assisting in theatre with AOSM and other associated orthopaedic surgeons
Preventative and Rehabilitation Assessments
- Training load advice to enhance performance, and management of stress fractures and other load-related injuries
- Strength, balance and conditioning advice to rehabilitate and reduce injuries
- Functional restoration programs (pre and post operative) in conjunction with our extensive network of allied health professionals
- Pre-participation screening assessments available for sports teams and schools
Imaging, Referrals and Surgeons
- Imaging and pathology weekdays, including Xray, CT and Ultrasound, and MRI. Conveniently located either on-site or within Warringal Private Hospital.
- Orthopaedic surgeons on-site and in close proximity, including lower limb, upper limb and spinal surgical specialists
- Direct referral and access to surgical appointments with our broad network of orthopaedic specialists, including via the AOSM clinic
- Access to on-site and extensive local network of allied health services: physiotherapy, osteopathy, podiatry, exercise physiology , chiropractors, performance psychology, myotherapy, dietetics
